Since 1975, Coleman Advocates for Children & Youth has been working to protect the health and welfare of San Francisco's children. When San Francisco's children need someone to stand up for them -- Coleman has been there -- in City Hall, in our neighborhoods and in the media. Our work has led to expanded afterschool programs, increased services for homeless children, improvements in Juvenile Hall and the creation of jobs for youth. Coleman also led the campaign to pass the landmark Children's Amendment, making San Francisco the first city in the country with a guarantee in its charter protecting funding for children.

"If you join Coleman -- you will be making a difference for San Francisco's children -- I assure you. People in City Hall listen to what they have to say."

-- Hadley Roff, Former Deputy Mayor for Feinstein, Agnos and Jordan.
