Business CardsBelow is a sample business card created by Green Island Graphics for AdventureQuest—a web based adventure travel site. The design was developed to support the look of the website—which was also developed by Green Island Graphics—without the printing costing a lot of money, hence a two color card was developed.
Green Island Graphics developed a card for an investment counselor - Jack W. Swenson. In this case the card had to have a fairly conservative design due to the nature of the business and its clientele.
CATCH (the Concord Area Trust for Community Housing) asked Green Island Graphics to develop a business card. Their logo at the time needed a little updating and streamlining so we did that as well.

Logo DevelopmentGreen Island Graphics has worked with non-profits to develop original logos and to update existing logos. Below is an example of a logo which Green Island Graphics reworked for Sustainable Harvest International. The original concept was a good one but the execution needed a bit of refinement and the full name of the organization needed to be included.
Christopher Dunning (proprietor of Green Island Graphics) worked with True Colors Print and Design in Plymouth, NH. In 2001 he developed a logo for the Squam Lakes Association and another for a facility for people with memory loss called the Blue Flower Inn. Both logos are below.
Green Island Graphics developed a logo for a Statewide network of Child Advocacy organizations called New Hampshire CAN (Child Advocacy Network). The client wanted a logo which reflected the fact that groups from around the state were coming together to work on children's issues. Green Island Graphics chose to represent this coalition with puzzle pieces fitting together - both to represent the co-operation of the groups and regions of the state as well as to suggest childhood with the puzzle itself.
Coleman Advocates for Children and Youth in San Francisco came to us not only for a website but also for logo designs. YMAC (Youth Making a Change) is a group of youth activists which wanted their logo to represent the vitality and energy of youth as well as their unique ideas and perspectives.
Another logo Christopher created for a Coleman Advocates affiliated group is the one for the Coalition for Ethical Welfare Reform (CEWR). The primary concept the client wanted to convey was one of urgency, of time running out. The use of an hourglass image was chosen to drive this point home.

T-Shirt Designs
Green Island Graphics created the T-Shirt design shown below. The shirts were given to a group of volunteers who helped to build a children's playground in Concord, NH. The main graphic on the front of the T-Shirt is an illustration of the structure that was the centerpiece of the playground.
